We have just released a new Flickrocket platform update. Read below for more detail on the changes and extensions.

• New: New product type for generic file downloads

  A new product type allows sales of generic files which can be downloaded and used in corresponding software. These products can be part of product collections but can't be individually DRM protected.

• New: Ability to exclude products and categories from discount codes and quantity discounts

  It is now possible to exclude specific products or categories from working with discount codes or being discounted as part of quantity discounts.

• New: New mail management for shop e-mails

  Managing the emails which are sent out by the shop is now separated from the theme management. Much easier to find and use.

• New: New discount code usage report

  A new report has been added which allows tracking the usage of discount codes in orders.

• New: Added many exiting apps

  We have added new apps, such as Braintree, Stripe, EBanx and Mailchimp to the Flickrocket App Store.

• Enhanced: Streamlined payment process

  The payment process has been streamlined and offers repeat customers the last used card data for reuse. No more complicated re-entering of payment data.

• New: Embedded Apps

  Partners and shop owners can now create apps, which can embed their own UI in the Flickrocket admin interface. This is possible for private apps as well as apps sold via the Flickrocket App Store.

• Enhanced: Extended REST API

  We have added more REST API functions to control features like Access Groups, Categories, Licenses, Theme Settings, Users and Webhooks.

In addition to the above, there are various smaller enhancements and fixes based on shop owners’ and partners’ requests.
