The Flickrocket Creators Marketplace brings together original content creators and shops selling content – for the benefit of both. Content creators get an easy way to generate more revenue by selling via third party shops. Third party shops generate more revenue by offering their audience a wider collection of content.
How does it work?
Every content owner with a Flickrocket account can join the Creators Marketplace simply by getting the Creators Markeplace App in the Flickrocket App store. Once this is done, content owners create a new Marketplace sharing group which defines the percentage which licensors have to pay, as well as the content they want to make available for licensing.
All content made available for 3rd party licensing is listed under the Content Owner’s company in the Creators Marketplace. If a third party shop is interested in licensing, he can select the products, agree to the royalties to be paid and the products are instantly added to the 3rd party’s Flickrocket shop account and are ready for sales.
Stay in control
All content sold which originates from Content Marketplace is under DRM supervision by Flickrocket. This means customers purchasing from third-party stores are under the exact same rules and permissions as you have defined them for your own shop. There is no room for illegal sharing or unfair competition and you can gradually define which part of your content you want to make available.
Since all content is under tight DRM regulations, each digital product sold requires a license to work. These licenses are centrally managed by Flickrocket and guarantee that all third-party sales are reported accurately and timely to the content owner. There is no possibility of fraudulent reports or wasted time chasing other companies or individuals for reporting.
All payments for content sold from third party services are charged as part of the regular monthly accounting from Flickrocket. Royalty payments from Flickrocket to the original content owner are done as part of the following months regular accounting. You don't need to operate your own invoicing or have any additional paper work. It can’t be much simpler than that!
