Video Content

The FlickRocket Encoder is used to encode regular DVDs into the FluxDVD format.

The big advantage of FluxDVD compared to other formats is that it keeps the complete DVD structure including all menus, audio tracks, subtitle, widescreen, full screen, etc. in a very high quality (full resolution H.264 high profile with Dolby AC-3 5.1 surround audio). If you don't have DVD data as input, you need to create a DVD as the first step.

The FlickRocket Enocder can also be used to add tagging data such as movie title, actors, director, etc. to the file which is later displayed in the shop interface. During the encoding process the encoder automatically creates preview pictures. These pictures can be displayed in the movie details page of the shop.

The main window of the Encoder allows you to select the complete DVD or certain parts thereof and is used to adjust the encoding quality		The tagging window is used to specify meta-data such as movie title, director, actors and thumbnail picture
Encode		Analyse
Depending on the computer performance and movie runtime the encoding can take multiple hours to complete.		Each movie is analysed in advance to the encode to optimize the internal encoder settings (e.g. bitrate profile, deinterlacing).
